Payments
Casino payment methods in Canada, timed.
Deposits are a solved problem on every rail below. Withdrawals are not, and the difference between rails is measured in days. Here is what each one does, how long it takes to pay you, and how many of the brands we hold records for accept it.

Withdrawal windows
How long each rail takes to pay you.
Observations across the brands we hold payment records for, not figures quoted from a cashier page. Where a rail has not been observed at a brand, the brand's row says so.
| Method | Withdrawal | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Interac e-Transfer | 24–48 h | The default for Canadian players. Deposits clear in minutes. |
| iDebit / InstaDebit | 24–48 h | Bank-linked, no card needed. Small fee at some sites. |
| eCheck | 3–7 days | Slowest rail. Useful for larger amounts. |
| Visa / Mastercard | 2–5 days | Deposits common; withdrawals back to card are slower. |
| Apple / Google Pay | Deposit only | Withdrawal goes to another rail — check which one first. |
| MuchBetter | 24 h | Fastest of the e-wallets on Canadian sites. |
Interac first, and by a distance
Interac e-Transfer is accepted by all 8 brands we hold payment records for, which no other rail on this page manages. It is a bank-to-bank transfer you initiate from inside your own online banking, so the casino never sees a card number, and it is the only rail that is both universal and usable in both directions.
Its weakness is that it looks slow when the operator is slow. The transfer itself moves in minutes to hours; what varies is the approval queue in front of it. That is why our recorded payout figures across the same rail run from 24 h to 24–72 h depending on the brand.
Bank-linked services, and what they buy you
iDebit and InstaDebit link to a bank account rather than a card. Two practical advantages: nothing gambling-shaped appears on a card statement, and there is no card-network decline to work around. The cost is a small fee at some sites and one more account to verify. Payout behaviour is close enough to e-Transfer that the choice is about privacy rather than speed.
Cards deposit well and pay badly
Visa and Mastercard are the easiest deposit and the slowest withdrawal — 2–5 days back to the card in our records, against 24–48 h on e-Transfer. Some issuers also decline gambling-coded transactions outright, which is a bank policy rather than an operator problem and cannot be fixed at the cashier.
Apple Pay and Google Pay are deposit-only at every brand we hold a record for. They are quick and private at the deposit step, but the money has to come back through another rail, so you will end up verifying a bank account anyway. Worth knowing before, rather than after, your first withdrawal request.
What we do not have data on
We show MuchBetter, Paysafecard in the strip above because Canadian cashiers offer them, but we hold no per-brand records for two of them yet. They are not ranked here and they are not claimed as accepted anywhere on this site until a brand record says so.
We also do not publish a fee table. Fees on these rails are set by your bank and by the individual site, they change without notice, and a stale number is worse than no number. The cashier page is the source; this page is for the part that does not change weekly.
The rail that is not on this page
Cryptocurrency. It is not a permitted payment method under the iGaming Ontario framework, so it cannot appear at a site registered in Ontario — and because we only record payment behaviour for brands on a provincial register, it does not appear here either. If a comparison page recommends a crypto casino to a Canadian audience, it is describing an unregistered market.

Questions about casino payments in Canada
Which payment method pays out fastest at a Canadian casino?
Of the rails we track, MuchBetter and Interac e-Transfer settle fastest, at 24–48 h or better. Cards are consistently the slowest way to be paid back even when they are the easiest way to deposit. The bigger variable is the operator's approval queue, not the rail.
Can I deposit with one method and withdraw with another?
Sometimes, and sometimes not by choice. Apple Pay and Google Pay are deposit-only at every brand we hold a record for, so a withdrawal has to go somewhere else — usually to a bank account you then have to verify. Where a site does allow a switch, expect it to ask for verification of the new destination first.
Is cryptocurrency accepted at Canadian casinos?
Not at a site registered in Ontario: cryptocurrency is not a permitted payment method under the iGaming Ontario framework. A cashier offering it to a Canadian audience is a reliable signal that the site is operating outside provincial registration.
